Map of Ponyville - Plain - v3.2 by Aurek-Skyclimber Map of Ponyville - Plain - v3.2 by Aurek-Skyclimber
Version 3.2 - Created using only what can be found in-show (up to the end of Season 3) and the official Map of Equestria:…

Photo Guide!!! GO HERE ASAP! -…

1. Anything that is in the green grassy zones surrounding Ponyville proper (i.e. not within a stone's throw of other located houses so I can gauge probable distances) is a rough placement. Examples of rough placement include the entirety of Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy's, etc. It's probably in that general direction and placement compared to the other items on the map, but it could be within a very large range of distances from the other objects.

2. The largest change to the map this time around is actually in the outskirts of Ponyville. In the interest of scale, Canterlot, Cloudsdale, etc. have been removed, leaving just Ponyville and its immediate surroundings. On the other hoof, Sweet Apple Acres, the Everfree, and a handful of other items have been thoroughly adjusted to match the official Equestria map and various other features that have come to light (My apologies to Ms. Faust).

3. The (few remaining) dark tan lines in the middle of town are possible building locations. There are still locations that we haven't seen yet (or I missed), so these lines are my best guesses as to where buildings will go once we do see that segment of road.

And YES you can use this map for whatever you like. I don't own MLP:FiM or anything in it, so that handles the legal side of things. And I want people to use the map for whatever purposes they can think of (the crazier the better) so that handles the personal side of things. Anywho, here's to hoping this helps everypony with their projects. I'm looking forward to seeing what turns up. :D

Will you do more of these maps? Maps on other parts of Equestria?

i wonder if the warcraft 3 or starcraft 2 world editor programs could be used in this application just for the sake of topography ?
Awesome dude. Will there be a new and improved building guide?

That's next on my list. I'll be completely redoing all of the street guides (which were done during season 1), updating the interior guides, and adding any new useful building pics to the building list. However, my university requirements comes first... 8 page conference paper on AR due in a few days + lab work = fun. ^^;
So when will be seeing the updated street guides and interior guides?

At this point, I'd say June is the earliest. The only reason I managed to get an updated map out today is because I'd already paid for Brony-Fest months ago and I ended up turning most of my Con time into Map time. Apart from possible minor updates to the 3.0 map, from now until the end of May I'll be programming nonstop.

It's June? *Checks calendar* So it is. Go fig. Thank you for the reminder as I had completely forgotten about the plan. I've just updated the remaining two main maps to 3.1 so that's a start. As for the updated street guides and interiors, I'm going to aim at completing one new item per day or so. Can't guarantee they'll arrive consistently what with all the hullabaloo going on here, but I'll certainly try.
So when will we see the final version?
